| This two-week online course looks at how Second Life works, what you need to know to get the best out of it, and examines how it might be used in a teaching or training context. This course, quality-assured Trinity College London, is for practising language teachers wishing to develop or improve their use of Information and Communication Technologies in their classroom practice. The 'ICT in the Classroom' course won a British Council Innovation Award in 2007. A training course on how to set up and use Moodle with learners. This advanced training course looks at some of the more complex features and functions of Moodle, and how to use them. This course is aimed at teachers, trainers, tutors, facilitators, lecturers and mentors from any discipline and any level of education, who are interested in developing the skills necessary to become an effective e-moderator in online courses. This two-week online course looks at how wikis works, how we can use them with learners, and what teachers needs to know and do to set up wiki projects with learners. This two-week online course looks at how blogs and RSS work, how we can use blogs with learners, and what teachers needs to know and do to set up blogs projects with learners. We also look at using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) to subscribe to blogs. This two-week online course looks at how podcasting works, how it can help students learn, and what teachers needs to know and do to use audio podcasts with learners. This Moodle is for teachers attending the VHS Vienna ICT workshop with Nicky Hockly in November, 2008. We will continue to use this Moodle after the workshop, for an additional 10 hours of input. This Moodle is for teachers attending the Longman Amazing Minds event in Budapest with Nicky Hockly in December, 2008. The Teaching Business English course looks at a range of useful techniques, tools and resources for teaching Business English to learners. This course also offers an optional add-on week (7-8 hours) on how to use the virtual world Second Life in teaching and training BE learners
